Bob is a co-founder of Spine and Sports. Since graduating from the University of Manitoba School of Physiotherapy and obtaining his Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy and Advanced Diploma in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy he has been extensively involved in the sports realm. He has been a member of two Canadian Summer Olympic teams (2004 and 2012) and has been involved with numerous National and professional teams, most recently as Head Therapist for Athletics Canada. He taught in the University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine for seven years and continues to teach Manual Therapy courses for Physios.

Lisa Crockett
Lisa Crockett

Lisa attended elementary and high school in Vernon before completing a BSc at UBC and then her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Alberta. She has been with Spine and Sports since 1997 and has continued to advance her skills by completing her Advanced Diploma in Manipulative Therapy as well as being certified in acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). She has recently been certified in Active ReleaseTherapy (ART). Having completed the Penticton Ironman, Lisa understands the demands and commitment that comes with training and athletic pursuit.

Demian Carson
Demian Carson

Demian is originally from Canmore Alberta where he spent 8 years as a member of the Canadian National Nordic Combined Team. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics from UBCO and graduated with his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Demian has translated his extensive sports background into treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, is trained in vestibular rehabilitation and Kinesio-taping, and has extensive experience in pediatric physiotherapy.

Nathan Bruno
Nathan Bruneau

Nathan completed his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and is certified in acupuncture with the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation. Nathan has a strong interest in manual therapy and has completed post-graduate courses in manual therapy and orthopaedics through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Nathan has also been educated in the Thoracic Ring Approach, part of the Connect Therapy series. This specialized training allows Nathan to connect your area of pain with a problem, or problems, in other areas of the body.With assessment and treatment on the entire body, Nathan will not only treat the painful area in your body but also remove the joint and mobility issues that are associated with the pain.

Myoka Kuraoka
Myoka Kuraoka

Myoka Kuraoka was born and raised in the Okanagan and is a graduate of the 3 year program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. A love of working with people and a specific interest in the function of the human body has lead Myoka to choose a career in Massage Therapy. Her empathy and understanding of the process of healing and wellness enables Myoka to recognize the need for therapeutic treatment, and the value of stress release and relaxation. She believes that these combined are the key's to ones overall well being. When not massaging Myoka takes every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

The South End location is managed by Betty, Glenda and Janine. Betty handles all the office billings smoothly and effectively. She is the behind the scenes organizer. Glenda manages all the activity at the front desk, booking appointments and keeping the therapists working efficiently and staying on time! Betty, Glenda and Janine form a good team and keep South end running with ease.
